Taking place 22nd February – 5th March 2023, the Virgin Media Dublin International Film Festival is Ireland’s premier film festival event. The Festival curates and presents the best in emerging international and Irish film for a wide audience through its annual festival. In 2023, the Festival will present a hybrid festival with films screened in cinemas and online.

Start Date: 8th August 2022

Reporting to Festival Director

Salary €500 per week

Job Description

Liaise with the Festival Director on delivery of the public and industry series of events for the 2023 Festival.

Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver of both public and industry focused events as part of the festival
  • Co-ordinate the First Frame film student programme and related Education events
  • Liaise with Filmmaker in Residence on Screen8 short film production
  • Co-ordinate Screener Programme
  • With Festival Director assign juries for all competitions
  • Work with marketing and publicity teams regarding promotion and marketing materials for all events
  • Deliver detailed itineraries and budgets for each event
  • Complete detailed reports on each event

Extensive film knowledge

Event Management experience.

Ability to multi-task and work on own initiative
