We’re looking for a strong actor who understands subtle comedy.
Ben is a quietly attractive guy who was raised to be polite. He has a readable face. Every thought that passes across it – happy-to-help, mild inconvenience, polite endurance, resignation, moderate anger and regret – registers as readable. He doesn’t need to do very much. He simply has to feel things, sincerely and completely, and let his face do the explaining.
