July Summer Camp in Santiago de Compostela, Spain

Chester College International School, located in Santiago de Compostela, Spain, is looking for a Performing Arts Director / Acting Coach for it’s 2021 July Summer Camp (1-31).

Summer Camps are authorised in Spain, provided they follow health and safety instructions. Air travel is allowed with a PCR test.

Duties:

  • To direct and produce Mid-Camp showcases and End-of-Camp performances of a high standard, working with the Director of Music and some English language and Primary teachers. The ages of the campers vary from 4 to 17 years of age.
  • To run Drama workshops for different groups of campers.
  • To write personalised comments on the pupils Progress Reports.
  • To contribute to the overall running of the Camp.

Profile requirements:

Previous experience in Performing Arts as a Director.

Qualities: Creativity. Energy & enthusiasm. Goal-orientation. Work ethic.

Salary and Benefits:

Salary: Depending on candidate’s expertise, qualifications and experience.

Benefits: Free accommodation is provided in an apartment sharing with other staff members. Main mid-day meal provided. Monday to Friday and all other meals whilst on duty. Cooking facilities available in the staff residence.
