PAID WORK FOR CORK CITY-BASED ACTOR

NOTE: ROLE REQUIRES A STRONG BACKGROUND IN THEATRE (NOT MUSICAL THEATRE). THIS IS NOT A DANCE ROLE.

Development role for a supporting actor in a theatre play which is part-theatre, part-ballet. Work involves four days of workshops on 6-7 March and 1-2 May, 2025, to be held at the Firkin Crane, Cork.

Role is for KANE, brother of the lead female:

Kane is tall, imposing, towering and well-built. Loud and aggressive, with a strong sense of (misguided?) justice. Enraged and hurt at being left out of father’s will. Begins to show a more gentle side as part of his character arc.
