MovieExtras.ie are on the hunt for a new batch of Chaperones from all corners of Ireland!

Have you a passion for TV/Film? Want to work in different and exciting locations? Are you interested in Childcare?

We are seeking applications from enthusiastic, dedicated, and dependable people (aged 25+) to be Chaperones for TV, Film, and Adverts shooting all over the country.

This work is casual in nature, and best suited to freelancers, part-time workers, or those of retirement age, and those who have good mid-week availability.

Full Chaperone Training and Garda Vetting will be provided through MovieExtras.ie

All applicants must have their own private vehicle

Qualification Requirements:

 · Chaperone training will be provided for successful candidates however a background in childcare is preferable and experience working in TV, film, theatre or media is an advantage.

· First aid training will also be provided but previous experience in first aid would also be beneficial.

· Garda vetting will be required for this position.

Description

· To accompany minors employed on film and TV productions, commercials, etc. and ensure their safety and wellbeing.

· To ensure all child working regulations are adhered to at all times. · To assist the production in providing an environment and experience for children that is enjoyable and safe.

· To allow productions to operate efficiently without delay or interruption, while keeping children occupied and entertained throughout the day.

· To provide parents with the peace of mind that their child is in safe hands and will be well cared for while working on a production.

· To keep precise records of children’s break times and rest periods.

· To report any issues or concerns as appropriate.
