We are are seeking a supporting actress for our independent slice-of-life fantasy film, Pitaya The Fruit Bat Vampire. This production will be filmed within Counties Offaly and Westmeath and is expected to commence in September 2026.
This role will require an actress capable of naturally portraying emotionally vulnerable and dramatic scenes combined with moments of humour and warmth alongside the gradual development of a close emotional relationship with the film’s lead character.
As this is an Independent, Low-budget film production, this is a voluntary role. However, meals, travel and other reasonable production-related expenditures will be covered where appropriate throughout the course of this production.
This role therefore may be suitable for those interested in getting involved in the local arts and filmmaking communities. Taking part within this film production may also provide further opportunities associated with the film’s release, such as screenings, events, festivals, publicity opportunities and the option to take part in future film productions.
Filming will take place over a flexible schedule beginning in September 2026 in close collaboration with and arranged around the availability of cast and crew members.
We are therefore seeking an individual who is enthusiastic, reliable, and has the flexibility to commit to this project throughout the production.
