Tuckmill Pictures is seeking a young actor (18+ to play 15/16) for the lead role of LILY in an independent Irish short film shooting in Wicklow on July 25th/26th.
Lily is sharp, funny, emotionally intelligent, and trying to figure out where she fits in the world. The character is trans, and we’d particularly love to hear from trans actors, though we’re open to anyone who feels genuinely connected to the role.
This is a warm, darkly funny, character-driven two-hander set in a small Irish town — emotionally honest, a little messy, and very human. A role requiring vulnerability, humour, and fearlessness in equal measure.
We’d especially welcome hearing from LGBTQ+ performers and actors drawn to grounded, emotionally truthful work.
Micro-budget/unpaid unfortunately 🙈 but travel, food, kindness, and a genuinely lovely creative team provided.
