Casting Call – Galway, June 8th – 10th (small fee + food/transport provided)

Casting is now open for two leads (late teens – early 20s, any gender) for a fantasy art-house piece, directed and produced by Masters students at Huston School of Film and Digital Media, NUIG. The film depicts a Mortal’s journey, led by the Greek gods Hypnos and Thanatos, through an endless forest.

The actor portraying Mortal must be comfortable with barefoot shots, eye contacts, body paint, and some minor water interaction, and will have no unnatural hair-colour/styles. If male, light-facial hair is acceptable, but clean shaven is preferable. The actor portraying Hypnos will also be portraying Thanatos, and will be wearing a costume that will hide all skin. Both roles are dialogue-free.

The shoot will take place from the 8th to the 10th of June, from morning to evening of each day. The prospective actor will need to be available for the entirety of these shooting times, as well as to be available for a costume fitting and meeting with the director and crew.
