As Production Assistant you will work with production staff to deliver the demands of the movie and support the artists and the working environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Prepare rounds for the Department Leadership or others and take notes on department action items.
Take detailed notes during meetings between departments and follow up on action items.
In coordination with a Production Supervisor or Production Coordinator check in with departments to ensure they are keeping on schedule and communicate any changes in progress to the necessary responsible persons.
Creating and maintaining pages in the Asset Management System (Shotgun) with up to date information.
Ensure schedules are maintained and up to date for departmental review.
Help schedule reviews and other key milestone events for departments you support.
Track each department’s assignment through to completion and ensure deadlines are met.
Keep open lines of communication with the crew, supervisors, production manager and coordinators in other departments.
Liaise with other departments to resolve any issues that may arise.
Effectively communicate priorities, issues, and pertinent production information to crew.
Support reviews, dailies, and meetings by preparing rooms, running media, keeping time constraints, and assembling key personnel.
PERSON SPECIFICATION:

Experience in production environment is desirable.
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office is required.
Must be extremely organised and have excellent time-management skills.
Must be able to work in a high-pressure environment.
Needs to be a team player to achieve results.
Shotgun Software experience preferred but not necessary.
Feature animation experience preferred.
A good understanding of the animation pipeline would be preferable.
Should be comfortable working in an environment to tight deadlines.
