We are currently on the search for our main cast. This is unpaid work but all travel expenses and food will be covered. All filming will be carried out in Dundalk for our short film ‘Who’s Next’ for our DKIT 3rd year film. Filming will take place between 6th-10th of March. Synopsis:
As David’s funds begin to diminish his poor living situation mirrors his poor treatment of others. Although he may appear to be put together at first glance, he is slowly falling apart grasping to this untrue ‘wealthy image’. People are reported missing as a metaphor for the number of homeless people who ‘disappearing’ from society, showing how easily the housing crisis can affect others and how society treats those in need. They disregard and treat them as though they’re invisible.
David (22-28)
– Personality
David is an ignorant, snobby and stuck-up individual. His demeanour rejects social norms, treating others unfairly. He actively ignores others and refuses to give help when others wouldn’t hesitate to help him. He acts in a way that depicts him in an unlikeable manner. His struggle with money lands him in a predicament.
– Appearance
David is well kept to keep this ‘wealthy’ look – appearance becomes more dishevelled by the end of the film.
Jane (22-28)
– Personality
Jane is an outgoing, go with the flow, try anything once kind of person. She is the opposite to David. She is kind to others but is clearly irritated at David’s behaviour on their date making her disappointed and embarrassed.
– Appearance
Jane is well put together and tidy.
Paul (22-30)
– Personality
Paul is a paranoid, scared individual who cannot fathom the position he has been put in. He is grasping onto reality and trying to be found again. There is an element of fear in the way he presents himself and in his eyes.
– Appearance
Paul looks dishevelled, worn, tired.
