We are currently casting a graduate film at the National Film School at IADT, Dun Laoghaire, shooting from the 5th-11th February, 2024.

“Martin, a 50 year old immigrant, working as a janitor in an art gallery. He leads a simple life, living off of microwave meals and simple sandwiches. He is a quiet man, who prefers to keep his head down and avoid confrontation.

When asked to live model for Cass, a 30 year old art teacher in the midst of setting up her own independent night course, Martin hesitantly agrees, unknowingly consenting to stripping down for a group of artists to sketch. He realises his mistake a little too late, and is unable to back out.

The experience overwhelms him with an air of confidence, giving him the ability to view his drawn form in a new light. He soon breaks free of his looping existence, finding his value and developing a new sense of worth.”

We are currently casting a leading and supporting role,
Martin – Lead
Male, 40s-50s, Preferably of Eastern European descent.
Martin is a shy man, working as a Janitor in an art gallery. He leads a simple life, his confidence is low, and he lacks ambition. He likes to keep to himself and is not one to strike up conversations.
Role requires partial nudity
Cass – Support
Female, Late 20s-30s, Irish
Cass is bright and bubbly, everything you would expect from an art enthusiast. She has a bold image, favouring colours and patterns in her clothing choices, with an equally bright personality to match. She is eccentric, kind hearted and unique.
