Elizabeth Moynihan trained under Deirdre O’Connell at Focus Theatre Stanislavsky Actors Studio.
Elizabeth Moynihan has worked in Ireland and the U.K as an actor, voice over artist for animated television series and specials as well as major ad. campaigns for over 17 years, as well as being an award winning playwright.She trained using the Stanislavski method.
Writing Credits:
Her first play Cider Queens won the Writers Guild Award (Zebbie) for best new radio play 2009 and was produced by RTE Radio Drama. The Abbey theatre commissioned a short play entitled ‘Marvel’which was then developed into a full length play where it debuted at The Hotbed Festival in Cambridge to five star reviews and had a run at the Project Arts Festival, Dublin. Her play ‘I want to know’was performed at the Abbey Theatre as part of the Anti-FGM campaign. ‘Quicksand’ was developed by the Young Vic. Her feature film ‘A life Out Loud’ was co-adapted by the director Marion Comer and is has just been picked up by an Irish Film Company.
