Psychological Horror Short Film
I am currently developing an independent psychological horror short film and looking for passionate filmmakers to join the team.
About the film:
Memories follows a group of friends who enter the woods and become trapped within their own traumatic memories. As reality begins to shift, each character is forced to confront the experiences they have buried and discover whether facing the truth is the only way to escape.
The film explores:

MAIN CHARACTERS: (19-26)
🌲 GIRL 2 – THE COMIC RELIEF
Witty and light-hearted on the surface, but hides deep insecurity and fear of abandonment. Her memory reveals the pain of never feeling good enough.
🌲 GIRL 3 – THE HAUNTED ONE
Haunted by childhood memory of the woods and personality almost as weird and unique as one Phoebe Buffet or Luna Lovegood. Her memory forces her to confront the one memory she never knew to be real at all.
🌲 GUY 1 – THE GUILTY ONE
Carries the weight of a secret. His memory forces him to relive the moment he failed to help.
🌲 GUY 2 – THE PROTECTOR
The loyal one who always puts others first. His memory reveals a childhood where he had to grow up too fast and lose himself in the process.
🌲 GUY 3 – THE OUTSIDER
Quiet and distant, always feeling more comfortable alone. His memory reveals the root of his isolation.
The woods don’t let go easily.

This is a micro-budget independent project, but a great opportunity to collaborate creatively, gain film credits and create a unique psychological horror piece.
Filming will take place in/ around Dublin, possibly Wicklow Mountains. Dates and production details are currently being planned.
