Creative Places Tipperary Town and Cork arts organisation Promenade are delighted to announce a new paid part-time Producer / Event Organiser Traineeship opportunity for an emerging arts worker based in County Tipperary. The traineeship is supported with funding from the Arts Council Creatives Places programme and the Arts Council’s Creative Production Supports Scheme.
This exciting collaboration offers a rare entry-level opportunity for someone passionate about the arts who may not yet have had access to formal training or professional experience within the sector. The successful candidate will receive paid trainee placement support along with expenses while gaining hands-on experience across both rural and city-based arts settings for 6 months.
The programme is designed to introduce the practical day-to-day work of arts production and producing, including supporting events, artists, creative projects and community engagement initiatives. Working alongside experienced arts professionals in both Tipperary Town and Cork City, the trainee will gain valuable insights into how creative programmes are developed and delivered in different contexts.
Creative Places Tipperary Town and Promenade are particularly interested in hearing from individuals who can demonstrate enthusiasm, commitment and a genuine interest in building a future as an arts producer and events organiser within the arts sector, regardless of previous experience or educational background.
This traineeship represents a significant opportunity to develop practical skills, build professional networks and gain meaningful experience within two ambitious arts organisations.
