Zodiak Kids Studio is seeking applications for the role of Producer on its long running award winning comedy series “Secret Life of Boys” for CBBC.

The 10 part series will shoot in Northern Ireland over the summer with initial prep beginning in early April through to full prep in May, filming in June and post production until Mid- October 2020.

The right candidate must have narrative comedy/drama experience and although Children’s production credits are desirable they are not essential. You must however understand the requirements of filming/working with children. Sound editorial judgement and a full understanding and experience of pre-production, filming and post production in scripted is essential. They will also have a full appreciation of the genre and series they are producing so to maintain the production standards already set and have the ambition and creative drive to add to them.

The Producer will be expected to lead from the front, have attention to detail, fantastic organisational skills and a keen eye for comedy. You will understand the production process to be able to deliver the series on time and budget…You will be dealing with writers and Executive notes, broadcaster requirements and leading an experienced professional filming crew. The producer will be working directly to the Zodiak Executive Producer NI and the Creative Head of Zodiak Kids.
