As Film and TV production in Ireland escalates as never before, the
Dublin Central School of Acting provides a creative space where people
who are new to the Industry can learn the craft of Film and TV acting, working with trained and experienced Professionals.
We also provide courses for the professional actor who want to brush up on their skills in various aspects of the craft.
The courses are designed by Casting Director Gillian Reynolds.

This course provides Headshots, and a professional crew will come to film your end-of-course Showreel scene. It will be edited and sent to you, for you to promote yourself to casting directors, agents and directors. Each course is run by Gillian Reynolds

Stanislavski: A one day intensive Workshop run by Elizabeth-Moynihan (Actress and Writer)
This is suitable for actors who have some training and who want
instant knowledge of the Stanislavski Method without the trouble of having to plough through books-often with quite bad translations.
The Method empowers actors to use their imagination, senses and emotions to create real performances that are founded in the ‘truth of the moment”.

Teen Filmmaking and Acting for Camera is a 5 day summer course for 13- 18year olds.
This course runs for one week in July and one week in August and is specifically designed for young people with little or no experience in film making or acting for camera- which is very different from stage acting!
At DCSA students learn how to storyboard, write, act, shoot and direct and edit their own short film. It is suitable for students who want to work as a Blogger on you tube like Casper Lee or Act for Screen or explore the possibility of Film Directing. The course is run by Gillian Reynolds Casting and a guest Film Director.
