Feature Film “Lily” is looking for Extras and Background Actors for key scenes shooting around Dublin City Centre on dates between Monday 25th – Thursday 28th February.

Lily is a feature film developed from the award-winning short film written and directed by Graham Cantwell. Amongst many international awards the short film won the Galway Film Festival, the Dublin Film Festival and was nominated for the IFTA for Best Short Film. A short trailer for the film with additional information is available at http://www.lilyfilm.net.

Lily is a young teenage girl with a secret from her friends, she is gay. At least she thinks she is. When she confides in confusion to her best friend Violet she sets in motion a train of events that lead to her being physically and emotionally bullied by her school classmates. As she struggles to confront her own identity, it falls on the openly gay Simon to help her come to terms with who she is and to find the courage and determination to stand up to the bullies in her life.

Production are seeking extras for a number of scenes set in bars/cafes and parties across the dates mentioned. Scenes are separate in nature, so availability would only be required for individual days.
