Production Description
Seeking actors for Pickles by EITC, an innovative Theatre-In-Education company that tours in France, Belgium, and Luxembourg, and promotes the English language in secondary schools through performing plays and providing workshops for pupils.
The company is based in Brussels, Belgium and the show will be directed by Xavier Hock & Arnaud Cramoisan
The show will tour from October 2019 to May 2020
They are looking for the following:
– native English speaker
– trained actor
– age range: 18 to 30
– dynamic and versatile (wide variety of roles in our plays)
– genuine motivation
– team player
– an interest in touring around Europe
– for the musicians: strong vocals, strong guitar, any other musicals skills (harmonica…) a bonus
Rehearsals will be for 4 weeks in October 2019
and the show will tour from November 2019 to May 2020.
There will be 1 week’s holiday every 6 to 8 weeks of tour (except for Christmas when there will be a 2 week break)
Performance will be Monday to Friday shows during school hours
Rehearsals: expenses of 20€ per day
Tour: 40€ per show. The company secures an average of about 8 to 12 shows a week.
Note: Accommodation + Transport is paid by the company during rehearsals and while on tour.
